Chest Ascender

The Stec chest ascender is made from aluminum alloy with carbon-steel parts. Its locking cam works even in extreme dirt and/or moisture. Fits ropes 8–12 mm in diameter: pushed in the direction of the arrow it slides freely, and pulling engages the lock. Working load 4 kN; breaking load 20 kN. Used for rope progression and is easy to install; can also serve as a locking element in force-reduction (hauling) systems. Rope range: Ø 8.0–12.0 mm. Material: Aluminum. Weight: 160 g. Code: AP01.
