Stainless Steel Anchor Stub

An anchor stub is a permanent tie-off point fixed to the top floor of a building for work-at-height safety, such as maintenance, restoration and façade painting. It anchors workers and equipment, providing fall protection and stability for descent gear such as scaffolding and boatswain's chairs. Made of stainless steel with high tensile strength. Brazilian regulation NR-18 (Ordinance 157 of April 10, 2006) requires any building 12 m tall or with 4+ floors to have anchor systems for height work via anchor stubs, of three types: chemical-fix, through-bolt, or double through-bolt. All provide secure points usable as PPE in fall-arrest systems where safety lines are attached. Ring: 316 stainless steel, 12 mm. Opening: Ø46 mm. Breaking load: 45 kN. Weight: 345 g. Code: OA01.
